Custom built tattoo machines by Matthew Amey
(Professional inquiries only!)
In 2006 I began researching technological advancements in 3D printing and I stumbled upon a company who is able to print a 3D CAD model directly in metal. I became so intrigued with the possibilities that I began developing and sculpting machine frames using a number of 3D modeling programs. After a few years of research and development my designs are ready for production. These are the first machines that I have made using this new technology and I am very excited to offer them here. At the bottom of this page is a video documenting the process by which these frames are actually produced. This is NOT your typical mass-produced, cast frame. Each frame is individually printed and machined according to my specifications. While I may produce a series of one particular design, each frame has its own, unique characteristics that are a result of the printing process.
